“The
borough already provides
over a thousand of our
employees with mobile
phones, so we were able
to utilise this existing
investments as well as
save money on the cost
of purchasing physical
tokens. However, it
wouldn’t have mattered
if SecurEnvoy had of
been a similar price to
our previous system
because we were so keen
on bringing in the
technology."Richard Medina

"SecurAccess provides a brilliantly simple solution
to a perennial IT problem. Hardware tokens are expensive, not user friendly and
all too easy to lose and break. Mobile phones provide a much more robust solution
and are very straightforward to use. Our remote workers don't have to remember extra
passwords or codes and so there has been a very high level of user acceptance."
“With a myriad of choice for Two-Factor vendors in the
Security market, SBJ found SecurEnvoy was a company that wanted to work with SBJ
to facilitate a cost effective solution. Not only could they provide security benefits
for our Citrix environment, they also designed scalability to expand with our growing
remote access strategy”.
“Simplicity and ease of use are key criteria to our mobile
workforce. After several years using hardware tokens, security was always seen as
a hurdle that staff had to overcome. The business required a fresh approach to managing
their remote access environment. SecurEnvoy SecurAccess was selected, as it removed
the need for physical tokens, solved problems of deployment and stopped issues with
synchronization errors. Costs were reduced as we leveraged our investment in existing
mobile phones”.
“We selected SecurEnvoy SecurAccess, as it didn’t require
physical tokens and therefore eliminated all token deployment costs. We felt that
using mobile phones was an ideal cost effective solution which our users embraced.
Using their phone as a virtual token authenticator was preferred by our staff as
they already carried their mobile phone”
“After studying the marketplace carefully, we selected
SecurEnvoy because it allows us the flexibility of strongly authenticating our remote
users without the burden of managing additional hardware tokens or smartcards”.
“We realised that productivity and security had to go hand-in-hand. Our employees
need access to our applications when travelling or working from home without compromising
our network infrastructure. The combined SecurEnvoy and Juniper® Networks solution
meets all these requirements”
“The Citrix environment at iimia required a solution
that could easily integrate. First investigation showed RSA and Secure Computing
had inbuilt Citrix agents. These seemed the ideal choices, however the realisation
of having to manage and deploy hardware tokens was too resource intensive, coupled
with the fact that the user database was completely separate from our existing Microsoft
Active Directory. This meant additional administration overhead was required to
keep all user databases in sync with each other. Secure Computing AD plug-in, did
not give the real time integration that was first envisaged and was removed from
the selection process”
“We work with many security organisations, Government
agencies and Police forces around the world. The nature of our business means we
have to preserve and protect any sensitive information that is found, recovered
or retrieved. As our staff travel around the globe for business we found that our
hardware tokens was hampering our business practice. We selected the phone based
technology from SecurEnvoy as did not require any software installing upon the phone
and could be used even with loss of signal and SMS delays. Investigation of users’
habits demonstrated that they protected their mobile phone far more than any other
type of authentication device”
“One of our clients and their architects wanted to view
in real time the progress of a renovation. We installed web cameras and supporting
infrastructure, however we were concerned about how to control access to the camera
images. HWA realised the cameras required a high level of protection, in that only
authorised users could view them. Working with authentication vendor SecurEnvoy,
a Two-Factor authentication solution was used to control access to the camera images.
The end result was that the client and their architects could view work in progress
and could respond to issues in real time. Our building inspectors and project managers
also used the cameras to monitor work without having to attend site. This approach
is now used across multiple renovation projects which allow us to finish projects
ahead of schedule and save onsite visit costs. reported"
