Two-Factor Authentication meets Self Help Password Reset
Are Microsoft, eDirectory or Sun Directory or OpenLDAP password changes causing additional helpdesk overheads?

  • End user connects to an automated self help web page or selects "reset password" when logging into XP, Vista or Windows 7
  • User is Two-Factor authenticated by prompting for their Pin and Passcode from their mobile phone
  • Optionally, the user can be prompted for secret information or existing  information such as their employee number instead of a PIN
  • After authentication is complete, the user is prompted to enter a new Microsoft Windows password
  • SecurPassword resets the password in Active Directory in real time

The server software can be installed on any existing Microsoft Windows 2003 / 2008 server and supports virtual environments such as VMWare and HyperV.
