Being recognised alongside many other companies in any report is always important especially in a report that isn’t specifically aimed at the Authentication market but actually aimed at IAM as the market criteria!
Interestingly vendors that choose not to focus in one discipline and continue to support older technologies do well when carrying a bland breadth of products that fits all; but don’t however do any one discipline well!
Steve Watts, co-founder of SecurEnvoy, commented “Having invented tokenless® authentication and created a new market for this, its not unexpected that we still lead in this space and we believe this is reflected in the MQ table. Of all of the focused vendors, we feel we are seen as the most innovative and easiest to deploy”
Exerts from the recent Gartner report include the following:
An estimate for revenue across all segments of the authentication market for 2011 remains approximately $2 billion.
Our opinion: SecurEnvoy’s growth has been steady over the past ten years and continues to make 50% growth year on year. With a D&B rating of A1 this is untouchable by most rivals!
Agree with the observation that we are a global provider of solutions, with a large percentage of users are deployed in Europe.
