SecurEnvoy launches Product Suite 5.4

On January 28 SecurEnvoy will officially release SecurEnvoy 5.4 Product Suite, the most advanced and fully featured two-factor authentication package on the market. Consisting of SecurAccess, SecurPassword and SecurMail, improvements have been made across the range, with an overhaul of the graphical user interface and security extended to FIP 140-approved 256-bit AES encryption.

SecurAccess 5.4 now supports Windows login authentication for Windows 2008R2 and Windows 7, plus improved SMS delivery with per user ‘simple messages’. SecurEnvoy’s most popular product can now automatically re-enable and unlock disabled users in ActiveDirectory, as does SecurPassword which has also been upgraded to send alert emails to both end users and security officers after a password has been reset.

Password reset solutions, as the name suggests, needs to be answers and not additional problems, therefore the reset process must be efficient for users, with full integration into a user’s desktop operating system. By adding a password reset option at the Windows login screen, SecurPassword allows users to quickly and conveniently reset their password (using their SMS passcodes) from within the operating environment, making authentication a seamless and simple process.

If you regularly send confidential documents via email then SecurEnvoy’s SecurMail uses two-factor authentication to prevent anyone other than the intended recipient from accessing your communications. Part of SecurEnvoy 5.4 Product Suite, SecurMail now makes it even easier to send secure emails with a new ‘Send Secure’ button added directly to your Microsoft Office Outlook new message ribbon menu. Receiving secure emails is also easy, making it simple and straightforward to add received emails to your normal email client.

There’s no denying the threat of cybercrime is constant, and often measures that attempt to protect your data can be awkward and inconvenient. So if your company can improve its password security while making cost savings, then there’s even more reason to look into lean authentication and tokenless two-factor solutions. SecurEnvoy 5.4 Product Suite should be at the top of your list.
