Business development manager

Technology leader and innovator in the two-factor authentication market, SecurEnvoy plc, are expanding its trading regions and now seek several new roles. We are looking for a successful business development manager who has the experience to take us forward in a competitive market.

Job opportunities are currently available in three regions: America, China and Singapore/Malaysia.

The business development role is to identify sales leads, pitch our products and leading services to new partners and clients whilst maintaining a good working relationship with new contacts.

This role requires a great communicator and requires skills in:
  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
  • Planning and preparing presentations and live demonstrations
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Overseeing the development of marketing literature
  • Writing reports and providing management with progress feedback

This person builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals.

Purpose of the role: to build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

Duties:
  • Locates potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Screens potential business deals, reviews deal requirements, opportunity and financials.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions partners' needs and goals.
  • Closes new business deals, developing and negotiating contracts.
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Updates job and market knowledge.

  • The channel role is to manage and develop new and existing partners in region.
  • This role requires a great communicator and requires specific channel experience and skills in this specific market.
  • This person builds key partnerships and brings partner capability.
  • Purpose of the role: to build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business partnerships.
Duties:
  • Building new and additional channel partners, develop the partners skills, assist in development of skills and capabilities, assist with marketing initiatives and build pipeline and revenue growth.
  • The Channel Manager wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners. Assigned to channel partners based on geography, channel, or market, the Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives.
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
  • Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
